A waiting-staff set is bought once and judged nightly. These are the decisions that decide whether it keeps passing.

What goes into a waiting-staff set?

The core is a shirt or blouse in poplin or oxford, with trousers or a skirt — developed together so the colours match across garments. Long sleeves for formal rooms, a short-sleeve version of the same shirt for summer terraces, and a collar style fixed on the sealed sample so reorders do not quietly change the look.

Why the sleeve set matters more than the fabric

Servers carry plates at shoulder height and above. A shirt cut for office wear binds at the back armhole the moment a tray goes up, and staff compensate by sizing up into something shapeless. Our blocks build ease into the back armhole, and the fit sample is approved with the arms raised and extended — the position the garment actually works in.

One colour standard, two fits

Men’s and women’s versions come from separate patterns with separate size charts, but from the same cloth lot and the same lab dip. The result is a floor that reads as one team, without asking half the team to wear a compromise. Shirts and bottoms run XS–5XL.

What to send for a quotation

The garment list per role, approximate quantities per size, your colour references and how the garments will be laundered. If you are matching an existing set, send one of each current garment and tell us what you would change — that conversation is faster than starting from a blank page.

Waiting sets are reordered in two ways — planned growth and unplanned churn. Both run against the sealed samples: a summer short-sleeve addition is sealed alongside the long-sleeve original, and a mid-year top-up of blouses in one size is cut to the same chart and cloth standard as the first run. Share last year’s issue list by size and we will plan the curve around the team you actually employ, so the set you approve this year is the set your new starters wear next year.
