About

A Manufacturer Built Around Uniforms

Repeatability is what a uniform buyer is really purchasing: the same colour, the same logo, the same fit, on every re-order. This factory is organised around that.

§ 01Who We Are

The factory behind the brand

UniformMfg is the uniform and workwear programme of Dongguan Hualingniao Apparel Co., Ltd., a garment manufacturer established in 2006 in Humen Town, Dongguan, Guangdong, China.

That matters for a practical reason rather than a promotional one: when you talk to us you are talking to the people who run the production line, not to an intermediary placing your order elsewhere. Questions about fabric, embroidery, tolerances and what went wrong on a particular bundle get answered by the people who can see the answer.

We do not manufacture certified protective clothing: no EN ISO 20471 high-visibility, flame-retardant, arc-flash or other PPE-rated garments. Staying inside that line is part of how we keep the rest of the promise.

§ 02From the Founder

What uniforms taught us about manufacturing

We started making garments in Dongguan in 2006. Uniforms came to us the way they come to most factories: a hotel group needed five hundred front-desk shirts that all had to look the same, in sizes from XS to 4XL, with a logo on every chest. That order taught us that a uniform is a different product from fashion, even when the pattern looks similar.

A fashion buyer wants this season's garment. A uniform buyer wants the same garment next year, in the same colour, with the same logo in the same place, for the new starter who joined last week. Repeatability is the whole job. It is why we keep sealed samples, retain patterns and embroidery files, and measure bulk against a fixed standard rather than against the last shipment.

The second thing uniforms taught us is that the small items decide whether a programme works: the name badge that peels, the size label that is wrong on a hundred pieces, the colour that drifts between the shirts and the trousers. So we would rather tell you early which part of a plan will not survive a year of industrial laundering, even when that costs us the order.

If you are responsible for how your staff look, we would like to be the part of that job you never have to think about.

§ 03What We Stand For

Four things we will not trade away

Each of these is something you can hold us to elsewhere on this site, not a slogan.

  • 01

The sealed sample is the contract

Bulk is measured against the sample you approved, not against a description of it and not against the last run. It is the only way a repeat order for new staff still matches the uniforms already on the floor.

  • 02

    Limitations stated before the order

Every capability page on this site has a section on what it cannot do, including the protective-clothing categories we do not make. A constraint you hear during quotation is a conversation; the same constraint discovered in production is a loss.

  • 03

One factory, not a chain of hands

Cutting, sewing, embroidery, finishing, labelling and packing happen in our own facility, so there is always someone who can actually answer what went wrong on a specific bundle.

  • 04

No numbers we cannot stand behind

We do not publish capacity, defect rates or lead times we have not verified. Where a figure appears on this site, we can show you where it comes from.

§ 04Who We Work With

The buyers this factory is set up for

If none of these describe you, say so anyway — it is quicker for both of us to find that out during the first conversation.

01Companies dressing their own staff
Office, retail, logistics, property and security teams that need one consistent look across locations, with sizes for everyone and a logo that survives the wash.
02Hotels, restaurants and catering groups
Front desk, restaurant, kitchen and housekeeping teams in coordinated colours, ordered by department and re-ordered as staff change.
03Retail chains and store networks
Store-staff polos, shirts and vests that take a logo and a weekly wash, ordered by location and re-ordered quickly as staff change.
04Schools and uniform distributors
School shirts, polos, skirts, trousers and knitwear in children’s and adult sizes, plus distributors and uniform brands that need a factory rather than a stock catalogue.
