Shirts, dresses and trousers are drafted with room where the body vents — across the back, at the underarm, at the hem — while collars, plackets and hems keep a finished line. The result reads as resort wear, not as staff wearing their day-off clothes. Fit samples are reviewed in motion and, where possible, in the climate itself, because a shirt that feels easy in an air-conditioned fitting room can cling at the pool deck at noon. Sleeve and hem lengths per role are agreed at the same review.

Departments by colour, not by garment

Beach, pool, activity and evening teams usually share the same garment blocks, identified by colour, print or trim. Housekeeping teams in the heat

Room attendants are often the resort’s largest department and the most exposed to the weather — walking between villas or blocks in full sun. The climate rule splits per role: lightweight poplin dresses and tunics for attendants who work outdoors, mid-weight twill kept for laundry and store-room roles that stay inside, all dipped to the same resort standard. Seasonal headcount is the other difference: the range is sealed once, and high-season hires are dressed from repeat orders against the retained samples and lab dips, identical to the core team’s.
