Housekeeping Uniforms
Uniforms Manufactured for Rental & Laundry Companies
To be clear at the outset: we are a manufacturer, not a rental supplier. We make the garments that stock your rental pool — your contracts, routes and laundry operation remain yours. A rental garment lives a harder life than any issued uniform: washed after every wearer, repaired rather than replaced, and expected back in service within days. We build housekeeping stock for that economics.
We manufacture — we do not rent
If you are an end user looking to rent uniforms for your own staff, this page is not that: we do not operate rental contracts, route services or laundries. We manufacture the garments that rental and laundry companies put into their pools, and everything below is written for those operators.
A rental garment is washed differently
An issued tunic might see the laundry weekly; a rental garment sees it after every wearer, for the whole of its life. That changes the specification: polyester-major cloth that holds shade and shape through constant hot cycles, seams overlocked and topstitched, bar tacks at every stress point, and closures chosen because a maintenance bench can replace them. Then the sample is washed repeatedly — not once — on your cycle, and measured for drift, before the style is sealed into the pool. It also passes through more hands than an issued garment — issue, return, sort, repair, re-issue — so labels and size coding are built to stay legible for the garment’s whole working life, not just its first quarter.
Built to be repaired, not replaced
Rental economics reward the garment that comes back from repair quickly. We favour constructions your bench can service: zips in standard sizes, press studs that can be re-set, hem allowances that survive repeated shortening, and cloth that does not pucker around a repair. These details are stated on the spec, so what you re-order in year three is what you sealed in year one.
Size pools and repeat supply
Pools wear sizes unevenly — the middle of the curve works hardest — so the size curve should come from your issue data, not a retail chart. We grade and pack to that curve, by size and style for shelving, with size coding woven into the labels for fast issue. Re-supply runs against the sealed spec and retained files: same cloth, same dye standard, same construction, verified per batch under the checks on the quality control page.
What to confirm
Your client mix and which styles it needs, your wash cycle and its temperature, your issue data by size, and how you want stock packed. If you are replacing a line that failed in the pool, tell us how it failed — seams, shade, closures — and we will show you on a wash-tested sample how the replacement answers it. Bulk production covers how repeat stock runs are scheduled and packed.
| Confirm before sampling | Spec. summary |
|---|---|
| Construction | Overlocked and topstitched seams, bar-tacked stress points, replaceable closures — built for repair, not disposal |
| Fabric | Polyester-major twill or drill, chosen for shade and shape retention through constant hot washing |
| Size curve | A steady core curve across XS–5XL, weighted to the pool's actual issue data |
| Identification | Woven rental labels, size coding and optional client logo positions that survive the wash |
| Repeat supply | Sealed stock styles re-supplied against retained specs, season after season |

The stages your order passes through, in order.
01
Pool profile
We map your client mix, issue data and wash cycle to fix the styles, cloth and size curve.
02
Pool-life testing
Samples are washed repeatedly on your cycle — not once — and measured for drift before the style is sealed.
03
Stock and re-supply
Bulk is packed by size for pool shelving; re-supply runs against the sealed spec with no re-sampling.
§ 03Worth Knowing
Where these orders go wrong
The mistakes we see buyers make on this programme — stated early, so they do not surface in production.
Retail garments bought into a rental pool
A garment built for one owner fails early in a pool: seams, closures and shade all go. Rental stock has to be specified for the cycle, and tested on it.
A size curve copied from retail sales
Pools issue from the middle outward and wear sizes unevenly. Build the curve from your own issue data and we will grade and pack to it.
Closures that cannot be repaired locally
Zips and press studs are the first failures in a pool. We use constructions your maintenance bench can actually replace, and say so on the spec.
§ 04FAQ
Uniforms Manufactured for Rental & Laundry Companies — questions buyers ask
Frequently asked4 Q
What makes a garment suitable for rental rather than issue?
Everything is heavier-duty where it fails first: seam construction, bar tacks at every stress point, closures that can be replaced on a maintenance bench, and a polyester-major cloth that holds shade and shape through constant hot washing. Then the sample is wash-tested repeatedly on your actual cycle before sealing.
Can rental stock carry our clients' logos?
Yes, in positions and methods that survive the wash — embroidery on the chest or sleeve, or client identification by colourway where many clients share a pool. Logo files are retained per client so re-supply matches exactly.
How is stock packed for a rental operation?
By size and style for pool shelving, with size coding on the labels for fast issue. Where you deliver complete sets to a client site, we can pack per site with the packing list enclosed.
What is the minimum order for a rental stock style?
Minimum order typically starts at 100 pcs per style; the exact minimum is confirmed per project. Rental buyers usually build the pool across a few styles and a full size curve, which is quoted as one project.
