Pharmacy uniforms are retail kit with a higher trust threshold. The customer is often unwell, often anxious, and reading the staff for reassurance — so the garments need to be clean, consistent and identifiable, and they need to stay that way through very frequent washing.

The pharmacy look: clean, calm, identifiable

Poplin shirts and blouses are the natural base: smooth, smart and easy to launder. Colour does most of the signalling — a calm brand shade worn by everyone behind the counter tells customers who to approach without a word. Identification finishes it: an embroidered name and role, or a removable badge where turnover is high. Embroidery placement matters more here than in most retail: name and role sit where a customer across the counter actually looks, which is checked on the worn sample. Garments for counter and dispensary teams

Counter and dispensary staff move between the till, the shelves and the consultation room, so garments need to look the same at 9am and 6pm. Shirts in easy-care poplin carry the logo and name, with a contrast collar colour marking counter roles where staff split between counter and stock work. Stockroom and delivery staff join the same programme on a polo in the same colour, so the whole payroll reads as one team. Sleeves, pockets and collar styles are agreed per role — a dispenser who reaches shelving all day wants a different detail set from a counter assistant.

Honest limits: retail garments, not clinical wear
